This is a 3U form factor IP-SAN and NAS data storage solution with SAS and SATA hard drive support. The storage capacity starts from 4 TB and goes up to 32 TB; it can be scaled to 128 TB with JBOD. It includes a Web-based GUI for StorTrends iTX Data Storage Software, which provides discovery and management of multiple StorTrends appliances deployed across the network.

Its features also include support for iSCSI, thin and auto provisioning, advanced snapshots, fault-tolerant RAID RT, advanced caching, synchronous and snap-assisted replication modes for disaster recovery, client-agnostic clusters, journal-assisted replication and continuous data protection amongst others.
