American Megatrends India POWERS Kalaignar Kapitu Tittam
American Megatrends India has recently done pioneering work on the Kalaignar's Kapitu Tittam by implementing Storage Solution; StorTrends. Kalaignar's Kapitu Tittam is a state health insurance scheme by the current government to provide the health insurance cards for below poverty line families. The storage systems were installed in partnership with Eagle Software.
StorTrends 3200n is a model of IP NAS storage unit of 32 TB capacities along with 3 JBODs offering a raw capacity of 128TB. The primary role will be to record & store all informations and data fed into the computer hard disk. This will facilitate in locating and retrieving millions of data at any given point of time.

When Eagle Software started off with the state government insurance scheme, they needed reliable, redundant centralized storage system to consolidate this critical data with vertical scalability to meet the data growth.
AMI India selected the StorTrends 3200n in response to the requirements of Eagle Software. Eagle Software use a field application for collection of various data including the photograph, finger print along with the personal data of the individuals. This data collected in the field needs to be archived in a central storage system for reference whenever required.
