Falcon-i vehicle tracking system rolled out in Chennai

American Megatrends India (AMI India) has launched their vehicle tracking system (VTS) brand Falcon-i in Chennai recently. Falcon-i has been designed and developed in India and would be manufactured at the AMI India factory located in Chennai. After extensive research on market requirement Falcon-i is set to be rolled out across the country.

Shankar, President, American Megatrends Inc. who was present at the event said, “This is a proud moment for our India operations as we see the Vehicle tracking market is expected to grow beyond the current USD35million. Our faith in our people is reflected in the launching of a branded VTS solution suited to the Indian market.”

According to the official release of AMI, “Falcon-i is GPS/ GPRS enabled dual mode control and communication system which is designed, developed and manufactured in India – reliable VTS solution. It is equipped with multiple input and output control and reporting formats for easy and flexible monitoring of fleet movements. It helps in an easier way to track route deviation, over speeding, fuel consumption, journey time. Furthermore, two way communications between the vehicle and the control room giving a complete control of fleet movement with geo-fencing and immobilizer options.”
