AMI launches vehicle tracking system

American Megatrends India (AMI India ) announced the launch of its vehicle tracking system (VTS) manufactured in India working on GPS as well as GPRS modes and branded as the Falcon-iVTS.

The solution is to be available across India and will be manufactured at the company’s Chennai facility.

Shankar, President, American Megatrends Inc. who was present at the event said “This is a proud moment for our India operations as we see the Vehicle tracking market is expected to grow beyond the current USD35million. Our faith in our people is reflected in the launching of a branded VTS solution suited to the Indian market”

The solution can track route deviation, over speeding, fuel consumption, journey time, two way communication between the vehicle and the control room.
